Drift away to Palaios Panteleimonas village
Regarded as the most picturesque village of Mount Olympus, Palaios Panteleimonas (or Old Panteleimonas) is a small gem hidden on the green slopes of the tallest mountain in Greece, at an altitude of 700 meters. Because of its impressive architecture, Palaios Panteleimonas is a protected Greek monument. The stone houses with wooden balconies, the narrow-cobbled streets, the square with the ancient plane trees and the impressive church, and the beautiful nature of the surrounding Olympus mountains make Palaios Panteleimonas feel like a village from a bygone era.
